[ it's already a damn good day when even half of them make it back. so by those standards, this mission was nearly a miracle. most of the expedition team is drinking to their survival in the mess hall.
levi is only nursing a mug of weak beer and ignoring everything to the best of his ability. ]
[ seeing people celebrating and being happy always makes petra excited. the fact some get super drunk worries her a little because it isn't as if they can get days off whenever they are.
but as long as there aren't any fights then it should be fine, right? it looks like levi is having a quiet night and she makes her way over to him. ]
[ levi's happy to grump in the corner, where he mostly won't be disturbed. except by ral, apparently—but he doesn't mind that as much as he would from others. ]
Because it might be nice. I'm sure everyone would love to celebrate with you.

[ levi is about to wave it off, just snort and dismiss it—but he's known petra for long enough and well enough to see when she's being really honest about something. ]
